Yes, it is a great car! I know because I bought it last June and have already won several awards with it. Fun to drive and I get many comments about how nice the color is. And the beige interior is as soft as deer skin. The ride is a bit stiff due to hard suspension, but the acceleration is quite acceptable with the Windsor 351 motor. Have fun and be safe.

Sounds good. So, five years later, how does your engine run today? > May 17, 2018. I'm currently building a 454 (+.060) for my brothers '70 Chevelle. I'm using 781 heads with 30 cc dome pistons to get about 10:1 compression. Once I determine deck height, I'll buy the head gaskets that get me closest to that compression ratio. The cam is a Comp custom grind hydraulic flat tappet with .537 lift I/E and 228/236 degrees duration @ .050 lift. Pretty mild. For induction, I'm using an Edelbrock RPM intake with a Holley Street Avenger 770 CFM carb. I'm guessing the engine will be making between 425 to 475 HP with around 500 ft lbs of torque. He wants a strong engine that he can daily drive or drive cross country if he wants to.
